RESIDENTS GUIDE TO MULCH OPERATIONS

The Board of Zoning Appeals granted a conditional use permit to the Town of Vienna for use of the property at 442 Beulah Road, NE, for the temporary storage, and grinding of leaves into mulch with use of vehicles and equipment on-site.  This operation involves collecting leaves curbside Townwide and recycling the leaves to provide free mulch for Town of Vienna residents.  The time frame for this operation is from October 1 through March 31 each year.  Hours of operation are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturday, with no operations permitted on holidays.  Tub grinder operation times are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday, holidays excepted, not to exceed four and one-half hours of operation in any day.  Public access to the site for mulch pick-up is from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, holidays excepted.

The Department of Public Works would like to provide guidance to report a complaint/concern during regular workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as follows:
